The aim of the Civil Engineering Department at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University is to provide students with fundamental knowledge in the field of civil engineering while fostering skills in problem-solving, disciplined work, research, design, and planning. The program seeks to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and ensure its proper application in professional practice.

The Civil Engineering Department at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University offers an undergraduate program conducted in Turkish.

In the first year of the undergraduate program, students take fundamental science courses and introductory engineering courses, such as engineering mechanics and informatics, which are essential for their engineering education. In subsequent years, they study courses related to the core disciplines of civil engineering, including structural engineering, mechanics, hydraulics, transportation, and geotechnics. Starting from the second year, students can also choose technical and non-technical elective courses to specialize in areas of their interest.

Graduates of the department have the opportunity to work both domestically and internationally in public institutions and private sector organizations. They can participate in the planning, design, and construction phases of various engineering systems.
